TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE

Accepting our Terms & Conditions of Sale is requested at checkout to make sure you are fully satisfied with your purchasing experience at www.belber.com. We suggest you go through the different sections before making a purchase.

 

All retail prices are in United States Dollars. Invoicing in different currencies is not available at this moment. Applicable retail prices are those confirmed at the time of purchase. Prices may be suBject to slight modifications during the season. In case of a price modification, the new price will only be applicable to orders placed after the date of the price change and not to any orders placed before that date. 

 

Payments are currently processed via Paypal only, through the customer's own Paypal account or checking out as a guest and paying with credit card. Further details are provided in the Secured Payment section below.

 

It is important that you carefully read our Shipping and Return policy below, both for USA and international orders. If you have any questions, please contact customercare@belber.com before placing your order.

 

Belber products are protected by a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. The full Guarantee policy is shown below.

 

Defective items and repairs can be reported using the same Return procedure as regular merchandise. Our team will handle this on a case by case basis. 

TERMS
SHIPPING & RETURN

Belber ships globally, via local or international courier service. The majority of our global shipments will be completed within 1 week from the shipping confirmation. Main capital cities around the world will receive the goods within 3 to 5 days from the shipping confirmation but some orders could take up to 10 business days depending on the location and Customs clearance duration. Please take this into account when placing an order.

 

Belber 1891 accepts the return of new, undamaged and unused full-priced goods with original tags attached, as well as defective merchandise, purchased on www.belber.com. Goods can be returned within 30 days from the reception date.

 

Belber goods purchased from authorized retailers should be returned or exchanged to the store where they were initially purchased but not through our online store.

 

Should you need to return any items purchased online, shipping charges are the client’s responsibility.

 

Orders within the USA are not subject to any extra surcharge, sales tax or duties. Customer is responsible for shipping charges and the cost of return shipping.

 

International orders are shipped from our distribution center in Hong Kong and may be subject to import taxes or duties plus VAT/ Sales tax. As the recipient and importer, you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Exact import taxes, duties and VAT/ Sales tax vary, depending on the destination country. Duties and taxes are due on delivery and are paid to the carrier, who will contact you directly.

 

If you refuse a shipment from Belber, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any import duty and taxes incurred on the package and the return shipping cost.

 

Belber will not assume any liability for reimbursement or compensation in the event that return packages are lost, stolen, or mishandled by the courier company.

 

Refunds will be processed within 20 business days from the date of merchandise reception in our distribution center, in the same form of payment originally used to make your purchase.

 

Instructions for returning goods by mail or courier service:

  • Email customercare@belber.com to obtain a Return authorisation code and shipping address.

  • Returned goods should be accompanied by a Belber Return Form, included in the original shipment, with all the required information fields completed, following the instructions previously sent by email.

  • Items should be returned using the original shipping box and packing materials. Any labels originally attached to our products must be intact.

  • Return parcels can be shipped by insured, registered mail or courier service.

  • Please do not seal parcels until they have been inspected by the courier company or postal office staff.

  • Items from different orders should not be consolidated in one return shipment.

  • Please allow up to 10 business days for return transit time.

Price adjustments on previous purchases are not permitted.

SECURED PAYMENT

Belber accepts different forms of payments, all handled securely through Paypal. You can check out through your own Paypal pre-registered account (recommended) or as a guest (click on the box at the bottom of the Paypal sign in form). The following payment methods are accepted worldwide:

  • Visa/MasterCard

  • American Express

  • Your own Paypal account registered payment form (bank account, credit card)

  • Union Pay Card (registered within the customer's own Paypal account). Union Pay Card payments may not be accepted when checking out as a guest.

After pressing the ‘Purchase’ button, you will be redirected to a Paypal webpage where you will be asked to follow certain verification steps, both while checking as a guest or through your own Paypal account.

 

Once payment has been received and your order has been confirmed, your order will automatically be sent to Belber for processing. Confirmation of your order means your acceptance of the whole Terms and Conditions of Sale through Belber’s online store. You will receive an email with the confirmation and details of your order.

 

The prices of Belber products are shown in United States Dollars, including taxes but in the case of orders outside the USA territory, excluding import tax and customs duties. We reserve the right to change the prices of the products on the website at any time and without prior notice. However, the prices that appear when the consumer makes a purchase will be considered valid.

 

Any data registered by the www.belber.com website will serve as proof of the transactions carried out between Belber and its customers. In the event of a dispute between Belber and one of its customers about a transaction carried out through the www.belber.com website, all the data registered by Belber 1891 International Limited will be considered as irrefutable proof of the transaction.

PYMENT
GUARANTEE

Belber bags and small leather goods are protected from the original date of purchase by a one-year limited warranty. If your product proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use within the first year, Belber is committed to repairing or replacing the item at no extra cost.

 

Please return the product to the original store where you purchased it and our sales team will handle the repair process. Proof of purchase is required for all repairs as well as the authenticity card provided with each item.

 

For products purchased through our website, please contact customercare@belber.com, providing a detailed description of the problem as well as photos of the damaged item and a copy of your purchase receipt. Our team will contact you immediately.

 

Our leather and materials evolve with time, acquiring their own personality and adapting to your lifestyle. Please refer to our General Product Care guidelines for further information on caring for your Belber goods, to ensure they live a long life.

 

Exclusions: this guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, dye transfer or from any alteration, service or repair performed by a third, unauthorized party, not validated by Belber. Products purchased from unauthorized retailers are also excluded from this guarantee.

GUARANTEE
PRODUCT CARE

Belber leather is resistant to moderate weather conditions and will not become easily damaged by everyday use. Your product will evolve with time, acquiring its own personality and adapting to your lifestyle.

 

Keep your product inside its cover when not in use and stuffed with proper padding. Control humidity inside storage units.

 

Minimize direct exposure to extreme weather conditions, prolonged sunlight or strong artificial light. Wipe rain or water drops as soon as possible and let the leather dry normally in a well ventilated space.

 

Use a soft cotton cloth and a weak solution of neutral soap and water to remove any dust or dirt accumulated on the surface, use a damp cloth to wipe again and finish with a dry cloth. Do not apply waxes, nourishing creams or cleaning products unless specifically indicated by our specialists and seek professional advice for difficult stains, scratches or other accidental damage.

 

Our canvas and textiles may present minor color variations, dark spots and weaving marks that are not defects. Canvas can be easily cleaned with a soft brush and a weak solution of neutral soap and water.

 

Rich and dark colors of nubuck, suede and denim may transfer onto light colored materials and clothing. Please avoid direct contact or friction to prevent damage.
